When you middle click a computer it copies it exactly, you have a clone of the original computer (programs and everything).
When you mid click a monitor it shows nothing. When you place it, it shows a disk drive called unnamed. You then middle click that and it gives you a monitor.

No big deal on the computers thing - as for monitors, probably a metadata issue. You really want middle click to mess up? Middle click on a red power tile :P/>/>

This is a non-issue. It is not worth the effort on our part to work round it. A quick workaround - only have people you trust in creative mode.

The way that you fix it is to install equiv ex, throw creative out the window and give everyone a red morningstar and ring of arcana :P/>/>
