I managed to set up an automated crucible from Flaxbeard's Steam Power to make brass using a bunch of mods.
The red things are redstone conduits from ender io, I imagine you could use something else, they transfer the redstone signal to the activators.
To use it put one stack of zinc and three stacks of copper in slots 1-4 then: PROGRAMNAME [stacksize]. stacksize being the amount of items in the smallest stack of ingots.

The Turtle drops the items in and times the redstone control to the autonomous activators that use the crucible and mold.
