Hello. this is my os that i put alot of time and work into. it has the following features:

- Easy to use pastebin installer
- Touch interface
- Multi boot with Operating systems: CraftOS, JakeOS and (LyqydOS which i did not make.)
- And more features.
- LuaIDE, Firewolf and pastebin added to desktop.
- Update button added to desktop!
- Make the OS you're own by editing "JakeOS/sys.config" (many options!)
- Password Lock Option. (uses SHA256)
- Now Added App Store! Click on the A on the desktop to access it (if you want to add an app to it ask me and i will verify it is a secure program)
- Programs Menu (set your own personal programs!)

Config Options: (in sys.config)
oem = "OS Version"
name = "Name Of OS"
easter = true – use to get easteregg loading screen
pacman = true – use to get pacman loading screen
autorun = "program name" – run a specific program instead of boot manager.

Built in functions:

- crash("reason for crash")
- progBar() – creates a progress bar at current cursorpos

Description:
JakeOS is my own personal operating system that i created to help people use and learn lua. it is also supposed to be as user friendly as possible.
if you would like me to add anything please comment it.

To install this operating system simply type:
"pastebin run YXGN67xN"
The operating system installer will now install jakeos.

Note: to save space LyqydOS is not installed until you first press the LyqydOS button on boot.

very soon i will have the update were you can configurate a file on the desktop called "Programs" and then you can set that with any amount of programs to be named anything in that folder to be run with any args!

I will also soon add a password manager where you can set you're own password to protect your computer. the password will be entered before the boot screen.

That would be cool!
Please make the password manager optional because it's kind of annoying if you don't want to have a password.

Here's my review on your operating system

Pros
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • Moderately advanced
  • Good programs
  • Good installation
  • No loading bar
  • Good security
Cons
  • Difficult for first-time users to edit config
  • Unable to customise computer aesthetically
  • Boot Manager does not look very realistic
  • LyqydOS does not properly function
If you could fix all of that, I believe it would be a really nice OS.

Right now, I would give it 4 stars. Nice job mate

JakeOS 2 is a GUI Version of JakeOS 1 and this OS Is also known as Windows 7. (notice this does not have anything to do with microsoft.)

Description:
JakeOS 2 is a sequel to JakeOS 1 except with a much improved GUI.
This OS is meant to make everyday tasks easier.

Features:
- File browser

- Programs list
- Background support
- Settings menu
- Easy-Update feature

Info:
This OS is smart enough to Re-Install itself from itself, it is very lightweight and only has one system file which is startup.

Tried it, looks nice! Great job!
There is one thing you should think about:

Windows 7? Yes, it looks a bit like Windows 7 but call it something else! It's more creative to call it something else!

Continue on updating the OS :D/>

Awesome OS but it would be awesome if you can add shortcuts to the desktop.
