Hostless GPS

I think that there should be some sort of way to use a Host-less gps. for just getting the coordinates easily because if you have hosts you need them all to be on for the gps to function otherwise you get an error. it would simply be helpful to allow this. even if it is required to use an Op command to do so. i dont know what you are going to think about this idea but i just thought it would be very desirable to users. you could also just set a config in the computercraft.cfg - non-rednetGps: false. that would be very useful on plots servers. so that people can more easily get the coordinates for their creations on a creative server. for instance if you could get the coords without rednet you could much more efficently allow a turtle to act as a type of pet.

(just and idea.)

thanks!

This has just been suggested, and if you're an op you can use a command computer.

I believe this may be slightly different to the other suggestion.

In the other suggestion, command computers can get their locations without GPS.

In this one, there is a config option to allow all computers this ability.

:unsure:/> , quote from OP in other topic:
We though would be nice adding B:rednet-gps:false in config

And I suggested the OP of this thread that he could use command command computers as a solution to his problem.
