Programmed my mining turtle and noticed it was collecting no uranium. Placed a uranium block in front of it and in its inventory on both single and multiplayer worlds. Turtle placed uranium ore block fine but when dig command was sent uranium ore block was broken and disappeared(not placed in inventory).

It's been this way for a while. There's something with the IC2 block that's doing it.

Any resolution or workaround so that I don't have to hunt for uranium manually?

Unfortunately, no. Until IC2 changes the behavior of how they handle block breaking, we can't do anything.

Aside from giving the turtle a sample piece of uranium ore that you've silk touched and writing a program to essentially tell it, "don't mine this".
