Wasn't very confident in the making of this particular topic, but went through with it anyways. Just curious as to whether anyone has had previously used Love2D for any games or projects, just curious as to how popular and effective it is as a framework. Also curious if anyone had experience regarding porting it to other platforms like Android or iOS.

Yeah, it's either love2d or CC for me, and I recently started porting my (now abandoned and never released) framework 'Flare' over to it.

I also made a platformer in it that turned out pretty well, although that was many years ago and I'm sure I could do a far better job now. I'd say it's pretty good as a framework, and if you use it right, you can do a lot with it. There are some pretty nifty libraries out there too, one of which is
lovebird which amazes me every time I use it.
