Did you hash the passwords?
By the way, this isn't a cryptocurrency. If it actually was each dollar would be worth some real cash instead of some diamonds.

Not necessarily. All currency is based on an equivalent value of a precious material(in most of the world, it's based on gold), so the idea of basing the value on diamonds isn't too far fetched.

It's a currency, but it's not a cryptocurrency. This currency has no relation to hashing and cryptography at all.

It's obviously not going to function entirely like a real cryptocurrency. It's computercraft. Our only goal was to make it function similarly to a real world cryptocurrency. Like irl cryptocurrency is based on real world currency, our CC cryptocurrency is based on some kind of minecraft currency, like diamonds (similar to real world currency). And the actual behavior of how passwords/account details are secured, exchanged, added, and/or modified is not at all going to be the same as in irl.
It's just a concept of a resemblance of an in-game cryptocurrency. We aren't aiming for realism, we are aiming for a cool concept that could possibly be utilized or make a fun economy basis. Im still going to call it a cryptocurrency.

That's not obvious. Look at
Krist (which admittedly does use an external server)

You got that slightly wrong, the value of
any currency (not just cryptocurrencies) is based on a valuable material or another currency.

So you pretty much just have a normal currency (no resemblance to a cryptocurrency). If I draw some analogies to how money works IRL (at least as far as I know in the US):
What you have there is the federal bank (issuing money) combined with a debit card like thing (storing money) (except using a username and password instead of a card).
So please don't call it a cryptocurrency, it really has no resemblance to one (though I haven't done anything with BitCoin IRL).

I think you're not understanding what we're saying
define cryptocurrencyyou can call it what you want, but just know it isn't a cryptocurrency in any way, rather simply a "currency".

I might make this idea real. A simple Sha-1 cryptocurrency
