I dont know, but more colors would be awesome. With more colors, we could make colorful projects, and not that! For ex: 3D with RGB colors, we could make shaders. We could make programs prettier. Well im new to the forums, visited last month I believe and I didnt find any "MOAR COLORS THREAD" so I posted this. If im wrong and you cant implement more colors then explain me BETTER why.
EDIT: If this more colors thing is possible then could you, DEVELOPERS, add HSV and RGB colors.

There's been plenty of topics in the suggestion forum regarding colors, the reason we don't have lots of them is simple: data size.
16 possible background colors and
16 possible foreground colors make
256 possible combinations, or 2^8 (one byte)
Add in the character and every pixel on the screen is represented in 2 bytes.
More colors = more bytes

Well then 8Bit rgb colors would be possible? or mabie 16bit rgb colors.

It probably won't happen.
The screenshots Dan provided of his 'secret project' with higher resolution still only uses 16 colors.

Not really. I counted three different shades of gray, which means there might be more colors. I'd say 32.

But the RBG colors could be possible? mabie 8BIT or 16BIT.
