PneumaticCraft Drones & Programmable Controller - Are they useful?

What are your thoughts on Drones and Programmable Controllers? I saw that Direwolf20 played with them a little on forgecraft but besides that… no one really uses them, or I'm blind.

Would you use them If there were easier / better way to control them?

how does this relate to computercraft?
pneumatic craft is a completely different mod

The drones can be controlled by CC (I think)
