What about a camera that is already installed on a computer, or like a new block which you can place on a surface, the camera sends information to the computer about what kind of action happend if it's active just like:
  • Fluid (still/running, distance?)
  • Mobs (what Kind, distance, amount?)
  • Players (name, distance)
  • Weather (Rain/Thunder/..)
  • Lightlevel around the camera?
  • ….
What do you think? :D/>

ComputerCraftEdu turtles let you see what the turtle does (It moves your camera from your player to the turtle)

It would be cool if regular (or advanced) CC turtles could do that.

I think they only added this to show the students what the turtle is doing in first person, so they can think about it "better". This kinda breaks the (I think it's called) fourth wall, and would be better as peripheral.

Well, I mean, if you are really that concerned about it.. :P/>

You can do a large amount of this with OpenCCSensors. I'm not really sure this much 'awareness' is something ComputerCraft should have built in - your computer doesn't even know if it a human or a cat typing.
