Once upon a time, I was active in the forum game 'Corrupt - a - wish'
Now, as fun as it is knowing when anyone posts in it, I'm getting tired of it appearing at the top of "My Content" as 'unread'
I'd imagine that if I had manually followed it (With the follow button), I could unfollow it with the same button.
But it shows up in 'My Content' because I posted in it, not because I hit the follow button.
So is there a way to stop it, and other such topics, from showing up?

In the "new content" view, can you not use the "just items I follow" filter to get what you want?

Well, it has the same problem, there's no way to remove things from any of the lists.
The 'My Content' page seems to be the same as the 'Topics I participated in' filter on the View New Content page.
I suppose the best way would be to follow topics I actually want to see updates in, then use the 'Just Items I follow' filter

The "My Content" page contains everything you've ever posted in. The default view (Topics and Posts) shows the topics you've either created or replied to, in whatever order you sort them in, usually for the past year. The "Only topics" or "Only posts" view will show just the topics you've started and just the replies you've made, respectively. The "My Content" page is probably not the tool you want to use to track topics you're interested in. There should be a setting to automatically follow topics you reply to, and you should then be able to un-follow any that do not interest you. Then you could use the "Content I Follow" page to keep up to date on the rest.

Ah, that's a good idea. I'll have to turn that on.
