Do the poll, or comment if you think I should do another! (PLEASE, NO BEDROCK. I HATE HAVING TO LOAD VIEWS FROM FILES.)

Surface API was s like paintutils, it draws shapes. Flare handles buttons and stuff. So, yes Flare. Or make your own.

Also there is DynaCode (not sure if it's still continued). But that utilises a "view file" (XML containing objects + information about them) too.

I'd hold off using Flare for a while. Its documentation is horrible, and I'm working on Sheets right now which will soon replace it. Thanks for the consideration though.

Interested to know why you don't like loading views from files. What is it about it you hate? The rigidity? What sort interface are you making?
