Telltale Games Minecraft Story Mode

Discuss the Telltale Games Minecraft Story Mode game here.

Yesterday I saw an advertisement for a new Minecraft game, and at the end it said "Minecraft: Story Mode". I was like 'Whoa, there's a second Minecraft game?' So I ran to my PlayStation 4 to start downloading it. When it was done downloading I started it quickly as if I was trying to be the first to play it.

I did not know what was going on at first, because I could not hear over the Party I was in. They were talking about "The Order of the Stone" group entering The End and defeating the Ender Dragon and stuff about Magnus and some three other people that I won't risk misspelling right here. Then the cutscene ended and we were in a conversation with Axel and Olivia.

I saw a gif/video and it looked pretty nice.

I've watched some trailers, but couldn't tell where the actual "game" part came in. I've been sorta assuming it plays like most of the other titles in the "puzzle / adventure game" genre Telltale works in.

I have a bad feeling about this game…a canonical story in minecraft? Heresy!

I have played it, it's not very Minecraft as we know it, it's very basic, I have only played episode 1 though, but it wasn't really very fun in all honesty…

You (or Telltale) just crushed our hopes and dreams. The next one who will be able to do that is Disney with Star Wars.

Apologies :P/> It's like playing a game where you have only two choices in everything you do, it's mainly choice based, and the fights are the worst, you have to like shuffle back and forth and to fight an enemy you have to lock onto them… It was just awful…

I really wanted them to make like quests and add dungeons and stuff, but nooooo xD
