What kind of program threads do you prefer?

A thread for each individual program, or a thread like: "Mayushii's Programs" that lists them all?
Just curious, :)/>

I sugggest both. A thread that lists every program with a small description, and a thread for every program (one program per thread) explaining it in detail.

If you want to have a list of your programs, I'd recommend using your "About Me" page on your profile. I feel that a list of your programs as well as individual topics just adds noise.

Programs having their own topics makes discussions on your program flow better, if you want an index of your stuff then do as SquidDev said and use your about me page.

I think the moderators dislike it when people do both.

Awesome, thanks guys. And yeah, I wouldn't see a point in making a topic filled with my programs, then go out to create a topic for each of them (that splits discussion / etc.)

I believe NitrogenFingers switched from thread-per-game to all in one thread. The individual threads had many pages of replies; the single overall thread was largely ignored, generating very little discussion. One per program is definitely the most organized and popular method.

perhaps the decision as to share a thead or have its own should be based on the type of program: if it is reasonably complex to set-up then it may be better to have it's own thread. How ever if its very simple and all related (such as a bunch of games) then they can be all bundled together
