Although I have never been active in the forums and honestly only recently started programming, I have been with this mod since the beginning and first official release. I have watched this mod grow as well as it's community.

I have seen like cavemen us start with simple login screens to desktop environments that rival even paid programs on an actual computer. I have seen us go from simple strip mining with turtles to full collaborative self replicating gray too swarms. From banks to krist. From rednet using redstone to full networking APIs ingame and out.

Every day this community takes one step after another learning from previous mistakes and successes and getting that much more advance. And it makes me proud to consider myself a part of it. I use to be ashamed if anyone asked if I play minecraft. Now I proudly claim ComputerCraft is my favorite place to program because it's the friendliest place to do it.

You all are simply amazing people. What we have accomplished in this one simple mod most professional programmers wouldn't even dream of doing. I have seen some of you first join the forums completely clueless and now going on to writing amazing complex programs that I couldn't even begin to comprehend. Never feel bad about the work you do. None of it is pointless in the end it's just a game but it's making you and others who learn from you better.

Sorry for the long kinda pointless post I just wanted to share with the community that I am more than proud to be apart of this. :)/>

I think that programing in CC has kind of helped me get 102% in programing class (we don't do anything because no one else know what he/she is doing).

Also, about complex programs. I remember my first post. It was some sort of menu system where you could chose from various options. That were some nobish times. I think this applies to everyone who has been consisttently using CC. Thay start from a door lock, and go on to write a Hello World program amazing OSes, networking APIs, and even krist.

I just want to show how proud I am of you all too, a bunch of people on the internet I have never met that are brought together because of one common interest: programing in computercraft.

ComputerCraft is the reason I'm not making batch files. Scary times they were. Now I went from making a remote control turtle made from a tutorial to a full minimap and other things that are cool.
