Hello! I want to make a colective Github organization that colaborates when making programs.

Anyone can fork or create anything. All programs developed by the community are licensed under MIT. Don't worry about creating a repo. Project can stay in alpha/beta forever if no one contributes, but it doesn't matter.

Project ListClay, an OS (typic project, but an useful one.

Q&A
To make this successful you have to tell us various things:
  1. what are your plans for coding
  2. more precise structure (will you be the only owner?)
  3. why we should join
Also, don't wait for others to start. Start yourself and then tell ask us to join.

1. Plans for coding: this is intended to be the home of all "Community Programs" tries.
2. At the moment yes. I will promote people if this grows.
3. This is intended for players who didn't publish a program and want to start: Other people help you with parts of code that are hard for you, and vice versa.

could you explain the rank system in more detail?

Once I saw Github settings, I removed it. Anyway, users that do it well can applicate for Moderators.

Moderators see changes in files and revert them if they consider (e.g. it fix one bug, but add three). They also can add new members to the whole team or to a certain repo.
To join, reply with your GitHub username.

A couple of things:
  • Suggestion: Have the organisations URL point to this forum thread
  • Question: do you mind if I fork Hive (just the main repo) into this org?
