Pocket PC XP - A Windows mobile-like operating system!

Hey!

I have created an operating system which is based off of The Windows mobile era and Pocket PC 2000 (Which is its own thing.)

Current Version: v1.1, Codename : XP

-Use of Modem for IM (Expected v1.2)

-Turtle Control (v1.1)
-Pin Number Lock System
-Contacts (Expected v1.2)
-Integration of Built-in Paint tool (Confirmed v1.2)
-Improvement to the Editor (Confirmed v1.2)

Install: pastebin run v1ZlbUxX (v1.1)
(Oops… theres a bug. After installation, Use terminal to navigate to the ppc directory and do 'mkdir iapps', I'll provide a hotfix tomorrow!)
(And Another. The 'Users' tab in Config doesn't work… that will be fixed with hotfix that will be provided tomorrow, AKA v1.11 or XP SP1)
(Another One! Documentation on Turtle Control is wrong… use BEup9QLp for client installation.)

This operating system is very lightweight and was designed to keep compatibility with all the programs you like to use. There should be no problems with programs running on top of the operating system.

Please report any bugs you find, I will do my best to fix them in the next version!

(By the way, for the people that inspect code, there is plenty of remnants that I was too lazy to take out… possible hints at future changes, perhaps?)

You could upload images to Imgur then add the image with a link rather than attaching images to the post. Generally looks better imo as well as it doesn't show the image a second time at the bottom of the post.

Obfuscated downloads? Please explain. I couldn't find anywhere that states this rule.

Also, I'm a derp. I had multiple tabs open, I just picked up the wrong one. I'll fix it.

Prohibition against obfuscated downloads, which the base64 blobs for file contents created by Packager are. You've already got an installer that grabs multiple files from pastebin, so just grab all of your files directly the same way.

I would've done that, but the upload limit on pastebin makes that hard to do.

There's a good chance I'll use this for re-upload. Shameless self promotion isn't a terrible thing, as long as what you are promoting actually works and is allowed. ^-^

It works just fine. Make sure you use the updated link on the forum post and not the one in the documentation <3
