1. Place a computer, turtle, or other equipment 3 meters above and 2 meters to the side of a birch sapling.
2. When the sapling grows, the computer disappears.
This can be worked around by making sure your turtles and other equipment never enter the leaf area above your trees. For birch/pine tree farms, this means the trees must be 3 meters apart or more, since otherwise your turtle will when cutting down a tree be in the danger zone of an adjacent tree.
