People are starting computercraft software companys (like me). And are making KST out of it. But how many are there. And how big can a computercraft company be?

Why would it be a joke? Companies are just an organization of people working towards a common goal. In this case, that goal is creating CC programs

The idea of creating programs in a group is completely okay. Whenever it comes to "selling" these programs that it becomes funny. This is CC we are talking about here… It is meant to be a place where people can come and learn how to program, not where programs that could help someone learn must be bought with a worthless currency.

Oh I see well that makes sense, I don't really care about that though, I gave up on krist a while ago, I just like making group programs.

I understand that, I was referring to the OP where he said his "company" was making KST out of it :P/>

I think you meant company's, not companys.

I don't think he meant company's - that's possessive. I believe he meant the plural which would be companies.

Incidentally, we're already making something like that. If the goals are met, it'll be a clickable badge that you can embed in your forum post.

Eh, thats the issue with fake currencies such as KST and bitcoin. IN the case of KST, CC only. Bitcoin, for those who accept it, and whether or not you can generate enough with poor processing power.

Sure, but the issue is people are trying to sell things and make virtual currency on a platform that is intended for hobbyists and education

Bitcoin feels very real to me. But we could trade fake currencies. I give you some krist, and you provide me with BitCoin.

Yeah. True, bitcoin is "Very real" as you say, (I use it too) but I can't go to a store and buy stuff..I can only go on Dark Net sites and use it.

Just letting you know that there are non-dark net services that supports Bitcoin payments, nice to know you buy stuff on the dark net tho…

Indeed, though my understanding is that they've got another company to process the payments for them. The bitcoins go to the third party who then hands regular money to Valve.

Yeah I was looking into it, and they do have a middle man as it were to process and transact the payments. The steam wallet just connects straight to my bitcoin wallet.
