Also i think bans are permenenant, unless it would be called a temp ban ;)/>

Moved to Forum Discussion.

Participating in flame wars and making huge messes for the staff to clean up is a good way to wear out your welcome here. The main three troublemaking accounts involved in that thread were banned. Bans are permanent.

I've noticed that some people who seem to have been banned from one of the FoxData threads are 'banned', but don't seem to be part of the banned members group which people seem to have been moved to in the past. Is that group no longer used, or is it a different type of ban?

Members cannot be moved between groups without admin access.

Couldn't Dan move them? It just seems like you don't want us to know that people are banned if you don't move them :/

Sure he could. But as you may've noticed, he doesn't spend a lot of time reading the boards, let alone moderating them. ;)/>

Complaining about it won't make it end sooner.

Permanent approvals won't end anyway lol. Also why is there permanent moderator approval?

There's a difference between permanent and indefinite.
