There is no function for indicating a message on an advanced pocket computer. When a program has a message for you, you want to be notified. There is no way to use sound. Then I got this idea. It would be really cool if the texture of the pocket computer in your inventory has an extra light (just like the rednet light).
This light should have special API which can be used to turn it on or off or to make it flash in any color. This can be useful for chat-like programs. It would be really neat to see this implemented. What do you think?
