It says in fourms that i have 391 posts, however on my profile it says i have 500 active posts? Whats the difference?
(I would just send a pm but let it be used for others personal reference later ;D)

Posts to forum games aren't counted.

I believe that posts that are no longer accessible on the forums (posts before a certain time are no longer accessible), do not count towards active post. I am fairly certain I have never posted in forum games (definitely have not posted 30 times), so this is the only way that it makes sense that I have 30 posts that are not active posts. If this was the case deleted posts might also be included.
I very well could be wrong though.

Soft deleted posts are included in the count on the profile page.

Could just be that posts that are moderated dont count as a post idk?

Am I right in thinking the the forums are a database, so the deleted post still takes a database key?

Soft deleted post are still there and can be restored i believe. Hard deleted ones are deleted deleted (Ad least they were on other forum i moderated.)
