CPU: 4.1GHz Intel Core i7-6400k (I overclock a bit)
GPU: EVGA GTX 970, 4GB VRAM
RAM: 16GB G.Skill RipJaws, 12 CAS Latency
PSU: Corsair 750 W, 95+ PW
Storage: 1TB Samsung SSD, eSata
Here's the full list for all the miscellaneous things I didn't list.
It's works pretty well for me so far. Too bad I decided to purchase a 970 before the 1000 series and VR came out.
Just going off the specs, it sounds like you'd have a hard time running most MC modpacks, with only 1.8GHz from the CPU and only 3.5GB of RAM.
EDIT: Whoops, posted an empty link, fixed that up as well as formatting.

I don't actually run mods, I just use CCEmuRedux to code ComputerCraft

Here are my specs, according to alsi and screenfetch:
I would look at these with a little bit of salt, though. Take the CPU clock speed for example: one says it's 3.6, the other one believes it's 4. AFAIK windows says it can run up to 3.8, but it magically goes up to 4 sometimes.

…
There's a thing called Intel Turbo Boost, which increases the clock speed when it's under load.
Most programs don't show the actual clock speed.
One of the only programs that accurately shows clock speed is CPU-Z.
