Hi,
I have one problem. Turtle doesn`t dig in multiplayer but in singleplayer works fine. All other functions in multiplayer works fine, but when i use any of turtle.dig() functions it returns false.
mods I use:
Computercraft
buildcraft-2.2.14
industrialcraft2-1.95b
IC2Nuclear control- 1.1.9b
IC2Transformers-1.2-r2
railcraft-5.3.2-r3
Best regards, ekstazi007

Are you on a bukkit server? If so you will need to set permissions for the turtle players.

Yes I use bukkit version 1.2.5-R1.3 . How do you set these permissions?

No idea - just make sure the [ComputerCraft] players have access.

Make sure that the default group in permissions have permission to build/destroy

Hi guys,
I'm having a very similar issue with regards to Turtles! Can place blocks and do everything else but can't dig. I'm not the admin myself, a friend is, he attempted to OP the [ComputerCraft] Group, but it appears to have no effect. Has anyone got suggestions on what we could do (or what we may have done wrong?). Thanks!
We are using the latest Tekkit build which includes ComputerCraft v1.33

You'll need to do the same thing and setup the perms for the computercraft characters. Have your friend take a look at this

The easier way is to just make sure whatever protection you use is set to allow ops full permissions, /op [ComputerCraft].

My server had this problem. Just give permissions to build on the default group.
I have group manager which means I can go into the files and add build: true to the default group.

I had this same problem with Buildcraft, with their quarries, and even using /op did not work. I eventually had to type the /op command in the java console to make it work. Not sure if this would work with CC, but something to try?

Yeh, we're still having the issue, we had to op buildcraft and industrialcraft to get mining wells and stuff to work, and this was fine, but it just won't work for the freakin turtles, it's really annoying because turtles are my favourite part of the mod.
(attempted both in game opping and in Java Console)

Many people get it working. If you have trouble, set it to "one" mode and op [ComputerCraft] and give it the relevant permissions.

Ok, so it seems the issue is because we are running the PEX plugin (
https://github.com/P...missionsEx/wiki) for User administration/whitelisting etc. Still not sure how to get this working, or what command I'd run to promote an individual turtle. Tried /pex promote [ComputerCraft] Turtle 108 (the turtle ID), but it didn't work (doesn't appear to be the correct player name)
edit: got it working. Above poster, it's single mode not one mode! (woulda saved some time :(/>/>)

What did you need to op for it to work

Because the Buildcraft quarries were getting insta-banned for cheating. Which was trying to break blocks too far away. Like I said. Not sure if this applies to CC, but just a thought.

I'll try this soon. Been having hell trying to get this working.
also. does [computercraft] have to be capitalised?
-edit-
this works. I could have sworn it said 'one' in the old config..
thanks.
