Has anyone had a go at writing some code to give turtle self-awareness and/or maybe self determination ?
With self replication, once the turtle reach critical mass they could become a force for good or an army of destruction.
ideas invited ?
If the turtles took over what would a minecraft world look like ?

There are a few self-replication projects on the forums:
http://www.computercraft.info/forums2/index.php?/topic/25049-replicator/ <- what would a MC world look like? watch the video

I am part way though designing
project which mimics these qualities by having the user set tasks which the turtles perform in their own time.

I had a read of the use case and will have a look at the code later today.
Lupus590 I notices the last post was September last year.
Is the project active ?

Hive, my project, has been "in suspended animation" while I am doing my final year of university. I have about another month of uni and I plan on returning to Hive once the last assignment is in.
I can't speak for the other projects.
