Ok, another non-CC question:
I saw that every account has reputation points, some more, other less. How do you get them?

The green up arrow on the right just above your signature adds on point to that post (or comment, I'll keep using post for conviniece). Each person can add one point to any post for free, you can't upvote your own post.

and what are the reasons to upvote something?

I don't think there are any ruled reasons. I do it when I like a post's content or a post has been particularly helpful.

And is there a way to find out for what you got the points actually?

You can view individual posts and tell how many points were given to the post, but not who gave them.
You can't upvote things twice.

I discovered something new: on the top right side of a post (at 'showing all posts\/') you can select how many points a reply must have to be displayed. But what does the -10 option mean? Can you downvote posts? Thats :(/>

Downvoting has been disabled for the ComputerCraft forums.
