Does anyone know of a way to host a website with php and mysql for free without home-hosting it? If anyone wanted to host a site for me it would be epic! :)/>/>

Hey, I could find a free website host for you (I'll either hosting it on my webserver or look for a service depending on what you want).

How much space and bandwidth are you looking for?

Ok.
Try out:
http://100gb.co/clients/cart.php
and sign up for the free service.
If you want to try a different service then try out:
http://000webhost.com
Never tried these hosts, though.

Also, when you have a website, you may want to look at dot.tk for a domain name for free.

I use 000webhost, that seems to offer the most, plus its free.

I wouldn't recommend dot.tk because those domain names tend to be malicious, which might steer people away.

Okay. I got this, let me explain a few things:

MySQL is a database engine used to make databases and tables. It is very popular because everything supports it.

DOT.tk is the website of Islands of Tokelau's NIC. They provide free .tk domains as long as your site gets traffic. Because of this a lot of spam/scammers use it to make quick disposable domain names, and can be used to fake various web crawlers easily (Badly written bot-verifiers will think googlebot.com.example.tk is valid)

000webhost is a free hosting service provided by a company of the same name. The service is very unreliable and has a horrible interface to get files on the site. However it is quite popular due to it's lack of ads.

The Web Pole is a fairly standard hosting company. Their servers are in Asia, so you'll probably want servers in the US/EU/AU (No idea where you live…).

Host1Free is a free hosting company that appears to be much better than 000webhost.

Some rules of the road you'll want to know:
  • As soon as you start paying for web hosting, get the hell away from hosts that also have free service.
  • GoDaddy is not a good hosting company. Neither is Dreamhost, BlueHost, Dotster, or any of JustHost (There are like 50 rebrands)
  • Register your domain away from your hosting company. I recommend Gandi or Name.com. If you host demands/requires that you register with them, you picked a bad host and should change.
  • When seeing if a domain is avaliable, use Domai.nr or Who.is. Use no other. (This is why, GoDaddy used to and still does do this. So does JustHost)
  • Learn Linux. Seriously, you have no idea how useful it is.
