I think there are many suggestions regarding the printer, so I thought making a post containging all of them would be a good idea. Here are mine:
  • Add advanced printer that can print with multiple colors
  • Make printed pages placable on walls and floors
  • Make bundled printed pages seperatable again
  • Add printer function to automatically combine the last printed page with the new one, so the printer output isn't as flooded all the time.
  • Post your ideas below!

Printers combining pages may be better as a separate machine, a bookbinder. Wait, turtles can do this, perhaps you just need to automate your printer with a turtle.

We do not need to bring all the horrors of reality into CC.

Add advanced printer that can print with multiple colors
You can technically print multiple colours now - you just need to chain printers together. Which IMO is a fun automation project, but I'm a bit of a masochist I guess.

Make printed pages placable on walls and floors
CC:Tweaked allows you to place printed pages/books inside item frames, and it'll render the first page.

The thing with these solutions is that no one will use them if they aren't easy enough that you could explain them to a baby. You wont see this and say "hey, I could do that!" and make a quick mockup.

And with Quark's invisible item frames that is perfect. CC:Tweaked saves me again :D/>
