I've been looking around but some servers only have a Technic pack or are not online. I can't use Technic because it doesn't start up for some reason. Also I am on Linux.

Where can I find a server that is online and has more than just a Technic modpack?

SwitchCraft has a manual pack option as well as it's technic pack.
Really you should browse the server forums, this is off topic for ask a pro. I've reported it to the moderators, they will probably move this post to general.
