I really miss those features in the default editor in CC (the edit command):
- "save as" which allows saving file with a different filename
- end, home (and maybe page up/page down) keys behaving properly (move to the start or end of line, respectively)
- delete key working
- also if it is possible, when you have cursor at some position in a longer line near end, when you jump two lines (to another long line over a short line) you lose the cursor position from the first line - it's on the position of the end of the shorter line
I hope I explained it clearly. What do you think?

Well, im working on it:D But it'll be custom OS nonetheless. Try RedWorks with RedWord editor though.
I don't think those features are likely to be added to default OS. It's just basics.

I know, but even basics can be complex and intelligent - let's inspire by unix, not by windows. Do you know nano or vi? Those are "basic editors". Microsofts' Notepad it also "basic". :P/>/>
Just trying to say that basic doesn't have to mean bad.

I know, but if you make everything good by default, there's no need for any user-made programs. Leave some room for creativity, I say.
