Hi there.
I'm having a bit (Quite a lot) of trouble typing things such as [,],~ etc. because "Alt gr" opens the save/exit menu, and I use it to make those symbols.
Any fixes?

Simply press Alt gr. And then another Time Alt gr. + the key you need. But ist better to use an not-ingame Editor like notepad or notepad++

If you are playing on single player it is easy to use something like notepad++ for your coding. Just go into %appdata% in windows and then ".minecraft/saves/worldname/computer/computer id" and you save your file there. If you are playing online then you will need access to the servers files in order to this but it is possible there too.
You can also paste into the in game editor, just hit and hold control and then press v. This will only do 1 line at a time unless something has recently changed.
