Title says it all.
When i list apis, my own api is listed as sjturtle.txt, when file name is sjTurtle. How do i make a text file like any other apis file.

do you mean you want to rename the file? ingame its "rename <name> <thenewname>"

I made my own api. The file name is sjTurtle. When i do apis on computer in game, it is listed as sjTurtle

I need it to be the same format as the other apis.

Remove the file extension. It's not the same format because it's not the same file.
To do this you need to go to Folder and Search options, and uncheck Hide File Extensions for Known File Types. This is generally something I think people should do anyway.

I have been trying, but can't get open the toolbar every answer is talking about.

Probably were looking at answers for the wrong operating system. Looks like you're using XP?

I got it now. One problem was the translations on how to do it. My pc was on norwegian. so i had a hard time finding what to un-check in the setting thingy :P/>/>
