Are computercraft recipes too easy for you?
Too overpowered or imbalanced with a host of mods your client/server may have?
Then you can easily use a mod like custom recipes mod, which allows you to make any recipe for/from any of the blocks and items that exist in your install. You can have items from redpower, industrialcraft etc - be components to make a CC computer!

I highly recommend this for servers, so you can use a harder recipe to make things more balanced for the players.
Here is me using the mod and playing with the txt files to make a recipe using blocks and items from 4 different mods! I still have the default recipes enabled as well, but thats easily toggleable with a server plugin.

Hopefully in the future, dan will add a "hardcore" mode for recipes. or alt recipes if certain mods are enabled. What do you think?

Link to this handy mod: http://www.planetmin...custom-recipes/
MightyPork is the author(PowerCraft, BucketCraft etc)

Now put on your chef hat and go make some new recipes, not just for CC - but anything you want customized!
Peace!

I personaly roll custom recipes myself, using the same mod, if you don't like fuzzyz recipe it is pretty easy to change it to your liking. I personaly find these recipes more balanced, but i CBA to do that much to make a turtle :D/>/>

I REALY suggest using this mod if you want custom recipes :P/>/>

I like your custom recipes, but as you use Sphax (The one texture pack I will NOT use (IMHO it's overrated (I don't care if the YogsCast use it, someone just brainwashed Lewis.))) it makes it very difficult to see what the items actually are.

I can guarantee that we definitely won't add recipes that rely on other mods in the future.

As Cloudy said. The recipes are just an example. Doesn't mean you have to use them or use other mods components. And your anti-Sphax rant is irrelevant.
I dont even know who Simon & Lewis are. I use sphax, because i like making sphax texures, my preference.

Before I found this mod I spent like 2 weeks learning basic Java to make my own recipes.
But adding different recipes for different mod items is quite nice.
For example you could make mining turtles be able to be crafted from redpower emeralds, rubies and sapphire tools.

I can't even tell what items were used to craft the computers though…I don't care what you use, and I think anyone who is going to post pictures should post them with the default pack, or something similar so people can actually tell what the items are.

that in this topic is extremely illogical because those were just SHOWOFF recipies you dont HAVE to use them your meant to make your own….. anyway sphax dosnt stay too much from the items and if you want to learn it so bad, just use it and check the tooltips then go back to default……..

just to tell Simon and lewis are part of the yogscast a very popular group of people who mainly play minecaft but play other things too and they use sphax in a tekkit series their doing,I knwo this is offtopic but it is nicer if things make sense, No?

Oh yes and nice mod this is Im using it for this little sp hardcore survival im doing and its really helping making things tougher :)/>/> tks for the mod
