Hello, I'm here again with next suggestion - cards.
This idea will need two blocks and one item - "Card Reader", "Card Programmer" and "Card". Card Reader will (instead of programmer) not have any GUI.
Card could be labeled and on it can be saved data. No programs, no files, only two values and label.
It will be used like this - player comes to card reader, rightclick it with card, it will be placed in it (card will disappear from inventory) and then dropped out (like you do with Q key). Event named for example "card" will be fired and as it's parameters will be value one and value two, what is saved on card.
Card programmer will have GUI like floppy drive has. You will place card here and then you can "program" it - with functions for example "card.setLabel()", "card.setValue(0, "value1")" and "card.setValue(1, "value2")". Why two values? It's because of now you can label your credit card "Credit card" and your for example name can be in first value and password in second.
Thats it, and if you ask for use? I'm thinking about security cards, credit cards…
PS. I know I can do this with floppies. But imagine using floppy as credit card in real life - if we have computers, why we can't have cards? :D/>/>
