Ok guys im kinda at a loss at the moment.

Im running a tekkit server and since opening i have been playing with CC and love it…….. one problem though - when people are in a protected area which stops block breaking they can break the screen and then right click the computer really quickly to gain access to it and then just change everything :D/>/>(( (At least thats my theory from watching people do it)

Is there any way to stop this or a method of connect or setup to prevent it?

Some protection plugins can prevent right-clicking on computer. I don't know offhand which ones, though.

LWC will work, tho you need to add the ip's in in config. for computers etc.

Or you can use Lockette, needs configuration though.

hums… if its hidden behind monitor i guess its a dedicated to what it do? Then there is a command to prevent programs to be terminated. And then if you put the programs on reboot… they can't terminate it and reboot just reboot the programs lol.

But tekkit… :|

Agree with sjele. I'm pretty sure LWC can make CC computers (and other mod blocks) 'private'.

Just a reminder though, you might want to add the CTRL+T protection to your computers as well. Just add os.pullEvent = os.pullEventRaw at the top, so nobody can stop your program even if they do make it past LWC and others. You might also want to think about adding a startup login prompt for your computers. Just in case :)/>/>

yeah but griefers will just shut the computer down to stop operation, you can't prevent that. I guess you could have another PC start it up but then it could be shut down etc… I would recommend just edit the program so it can't be terminated and if you are the server host then edit files and prevent shutdown
