broadcast markers -- a true story.

Having completed the new upgrades to my house (adding a enchanting table) I was kinda board. I had already a lot of resources (automatic turtle mine) and because I was playing SSP know one around to LAN with. so i thought lets go on a epic quest. I enchanted a stone sward level 9 and got a kickback and sharpness not a a bad comb. packing the other necessity and a comps I left my house and headed west to the jungle. fighting my way thought vines and undergrowth it soon became dark. heading to a river i saw and made a small wooden hut to stay the night. getting board waiting and not wanting to reset y spawn o the middle of knower I collected a tree made some latter and built a shaft down. spending the rest of the night mining. I packed light so keep the mined cobble and resources packed camp while dark and started moving again many mob run in's latter It was day and i was on my travels again. nothing much happened the second day i walked in search or cactus and other rare plants (I decided that twas what i was looking for ). end of day two jangle saplings X 2 two other types of tree and no cactus. left camp again just before day break heeded west. bout half a days journey there it was a town in the desert and I got some cactus. i would never find this town again I brought no paper i could not make a map But i wanted to come back here what to do. I settled on a paln make a base at the town find resources to make map then make nether portal and try to find it when i return guided by comps to my own base. a loud bang in the night what was that i look out to see the town under attack . quickly equipping my sword I enter the fight. many a fow fall at my hand and day break if coming I turn to walk away what was that i get hit by a spider must have been on a roof I have two harts left and turn failing wildly I kill the beast . This happens every night till i have the resources to light up the town The last night i was staying the leader showed up for a fight riding a spider I had never encounter this enemy before .a few hours of cultivating sugar cane and defending the town I had the resources to make a map and more campus's. I then thought what about making a computer in the nether to broad cast so i can find it faster. i dash to the nether dodging fire balls i make a hut place a computer and set up a broadcast. The next day I leave the town a fight my way across the various bioms to my main base. I enter the nether and check for a signal. nothing I dig in the direction i think the signal will be and shore enough it is there I now have a link between bases via the nether.

I didn't know you could do that with the nether, I never thought computer modems spanned dimensions. Good job. Thanks for the tip.

they don't span distentions they only work in one dimension or the other. I took a computer with me when I entered the nether from my base and use it it to locate the other computer already in the nether by the towns gate.

and thanks I am not a write I normally avoid writing where possible to thanks for the complement

a bit unstructured post but a really nice story. that is really nice and a smart idea too
