ComputerCraft version 1.4.2 [Universal]

Minecraft Version [1.3.2]

I ma experiencing a really strange bug. I have downloaded and installed ComputerCraft as per the instructions and copied it into my mod folder. When I load Minecraft all components of CC are available. When I place a computer and right click to interact all I am getting is a non responsive black screen. However when I place a disk drive and insert a floppy the indicator light comes on on the disk drive.

I am currently running the following mods

ComputerCraft 1.4.2
Forge 4.1.4.272 (Latest Version)
IC2 (Latest Version)
RailCraft 6.2.0 (Latest Version)
TMI (Latest Version)

Can anybody help me with this ? I am such a fan of this mod and used it as part of the tekkit pack for a long time. Now it's out for 1.3.2 I just want to use it!

It is also worth noting you can put it into the mods folder as a zip.

Just curious, why doesn't CC use getResourceAsStream to load bios.lua? Then it would search the whole classpath.

Might work for the bios file, but all other lua rom files have to be found by the fs api, and getResourceAsStream isn't able to eg list the files in a directory.

Yeah - its safer to bail if we can't find the bios - because it will mean that other files are probably not where we think they are. Having files in a zip is the preferred method to load CC (but we do support files in the ComputerCraft folder at the same time!)
