The front of my computer is transparent after I used it, what's wrong? (Online when it's turned on)
Posted 04 October 2012 - 08:10 PM
Whenever I set up monitors, everything is working fine. However, if I leave the area and that chunk is unloaded, upon coming back, the monitors are blank and the computers are reading "Invalid monitor setup".
Breaking one of the pieces of the monitor and replacing it fixes the issue.
Bug?

Is there any difference from beta 1.43?

No. As I've said frequently, before there's a bukkit port, there will need to be a version of bukkit to port it to.

If the chunks are unloaded, the computer will be unloaded too. I will however look into it. What size monitor are you using? Are you using SMP or SSP?

Update your forge to version 275 or higher.

This is SMP. This happens on a variety of sizes, but the smallest is 3x2, the biggest probably 10x5. I have 5 running right now in one area, and if that chunk is unloaded, all of them have that happen when I come back. It won't be such an issue since this will eventually be spawn and will stay loaded, but seems like it could be an issue for other players that won't have the "always loaded" luxury.

Update your forge to version 275 or higher.
Looks like forge jenkins is down, so there is now way of getting it.

That 16x16 screen someone made in the media forum made me think about something (through a long chain of relation that I don't feel like explaining), would it be possible to display papers in item frames, like how maps, clocks and compasses work in item frames?
This would be useful if someone made a pixel art program that lets you print out your creations. You could have a wall filled with a bunch of random characters :D/>/>

You look as though you're not using the recommended version of forge.
