"advanced computers"
"advanced monitors"

–> cool stuff coming along with computercraft 1.45

my idea is an "advanced printer" its most similar to the normal printer except it can act like a advanced monitor. i mean colored pixels for pictures etc.
the advanced printer can also change the ink colors for every letter.

sorry if you have problems to understand my text I'm no a native englisch speaker

You can already change the inc color, do you mean typing soething in to change it or what?

Well, you have to end the page, feed the output back to input, and load more ink. Unless you do some work code-side first, this can get pretty expensive on ink.

Actually it's quite annoying. Printer, able to print any color text on any color background would be really advanced. Probably using term like functions. It should have 3, but better 16 (or 15) ink slots.

It might be worthwhile to take a look at the Multi Color Printing API: http://www.computercraft.info/forums2/index.php?/topic/4515-142apimulticolor-printer-api-mcp/
