Whenever I place a computer or turtle, everything works fine. But when I open their interface it starts lagging extreme. The lagg stops when I close the interface. But when a program is running (for example Excavate or a infinite loop) my whole game starts to lagg like playing Call of Duty - MW3 with 128MB ram (just for demonstration purposes). Do you have the same problem or any solutions? This lagg occurs since CC 1.41 (since I'm using it, at all), but is only caused by computers and / or turtles.

Hi guys, I hope I posted into the right section, because I think that this isn't actually a bug.

No idea why the lagg starts, whats your computer "stats" (RAM? 32bit? 64bit? OS? you get the point…).
Another great deal is how much RAM you are giving to minecraft, as default you usually give 1GB (And that's enough for having like 100+ CC computer on at the same time :/ )

I'm running on a 32bit Windows XP-OS and having 2GB ram, nVidia GeForce 9500GT. I set the process-priority of the javaw.exe via Taskmanager to "High", because my minecraft laggs itself on normal priority. No clue how to set a specific amount of RAM to a single process.

Do you got another program running at the same time as you're playing minecraft?
Else the only thing I can think of left is that either your minecraft, forge or CC is buggy.
Really strange…

Running three different programs on my computer at the same time: Skype, Teamspeak and Minecraft. Don't think it's CC, MC or Forge, because this also occured with version 1.2.5. When I installed 1.3.2, I deleted my whole MC folder and installed everything again.
€dit: After deleting my minecraft-folder and downloading the game again, I installed the following mods to test: Forge 4.2.5.311, Not Enough Items 1.4.0.1, Code Chicken Core 0.6.1 and CC 1.43. Still lagging while running a program. This problem only occurs in singleplayer worlds.

I can't come with a answer, no idea of why this is occurring.

You told something about giving RAM to processes. How do I check how much RAM my process uses? Sorry for that little noob-question, but I'm not that familiar with RAM and such things.

When you're in-game, you can press F3 I think to view the CPU usage.
And at the upper right corner it says something about allocated memory and memory usage.
If you want to start minecraft with more RAM you'll have to go with a bit more advanced ruth you'll have to watch youtube or some guide online because it takes some steps to do.

Alright but thanks for trying to help me. I'll go on investigating and maybe I find a solution.

I'm guessing you don't have a powerful CPU either - remember that your computer is having to interpret lua at the same time as running the game. And stuff like excavate make lots of block updates so increasing the load on your machine.
If minecraft itself lags then I think we have an answer - CC will increase the processing done inside minecraft, so no wonder you're having issues.
