you would be able to scan a texture and put it in memory for later comparement useage. this would allow a computer to store all of the blocks and item data and send it over rednet to turtles that is scanning caves for diamonds ^_^/>/>

btw i suggest making a table for that. and not a new data type

Okay, this is just a detect block ID suggestion masked as a CCTV suggestion. Somewhere, a kitten's head just exploded.

As above this is basicly just ID compare, if you want features like this use ASTUs database turtles.
