ComputerCraft is an awesome mod. Especially as of late with the ability to make turtles mine for you.
The problem is that a lot of the other fun stuff is dependent on an… inactive mod. (Redpower2)
Perhaps there should be an optional mod to be installed along with ComputerCraft, bringing cables back to the game once again. In the event that Eloraam's actually updates his mod,
the cables for this peripheral get their own API.

Eloraam is a she.
Turtles are several months old. They are not new.
I cannot count the number of times this has been suggested. Search. First.

1. Okay, noted.
2. Hm… I was somewhat vague. 1.4 added some new features in which for me makes mining turtle practical.
3. Did search, problem is everyone probably deletes the stupid posts. Now whos fault is that?

You can't have searched very hard…like using the search bar or even just looking down a couple of topics on the first page.
That gets people a little irritated. It clutters the forums with new posts and makes it harder for people to find the appropriate topic.
Now whose fault is it?
Anyway, there are apparently plans in the works to add some kind of cables. Details are more forthcoming to those who qualify as useful beta testers, capable of following rules and giving intelligent feedback.

If the peripheral cables were added, Dan should get in contact with Eloraam and make them able to be run inside of the penels and cover blocks, so the cabeling can be hidden like bundled cables or blulectricity.

Redpower is not inactive, she is working on it since 1.3 and apparently there are a lot of bugs. But I think she should do what many good mods successfully do now - prereleases.
