I don't know how many of you watched Lost, more specifically the 2nd season, but they discover a computer where they have to type in a number sequence every 108 minutes to "save the world" .
So I recently watched the show again and I thought I would make a script for this.
Here is the end result:

http://pastebin.com/1U4iEYuD

For those who don't know the show, you are not able to enter the numbers until the countdown reaches 4 minutes. At that time an alarm will go off, at 1 minute a 2nd alarm starts. when it hits 0 the numbers become weird symbols and "the world ends".

The sequence to enter is "4 8 15 16 23 42"

With this script, at 4 minutes you will get a RS output on the left and at 1 minute RS signal on the right.
The monitor should be set on top.
Once you hit 0 it will output a signal in the bottom which you can hook up to a nuke or whatever.

I just made thought this would be fun and someone else who likes lost might have fun with this too.

This is the setup I use.

Added:
save the the current time in a file every 10 seconds or so so that if people restart the pc they dont reset the countdown

Thanks. It's really funny IMO.
I have one of these set up in two towns on my server now and people have to type in the numbers every 108 minutes, haha.

I'm trying to type this in game and I'm getting the following error:

bios:206: [string "startup"]:99: 'end' expected ( to close 'while' at line 12)

keep in mind I am in amateur coder.

I'm watching the show for the second time and just got to season 2. THIS IS SO GENIOUS!!! But if I could make a suggestion, make an alternative program for tekkit/technic, so if you DONT type in 4 8 15 16 23 42, and the count gets to 00:00, then it sends out a redstone pulse that leads to a nuke.

I will pastebin it then you can get it more easily .

Oh and just to verify, the top of YOUR POST says they have to punch in the code every 108 HOURS. But in the show its 108 MINUTES. I just want to make sure this code makes you put in the code every 108 MINUTES and not 108 HOURS.

You have to type in the code every 108 Minutes, not hours. I will fix the post.

You should really set it to center the timer. Its pretty lop-sided.
