(This is the current version of CC in Tekkit. I checked the CC changelog but I couldn't find any info about whether it's been fixed in later versions.)
Two related problems:
1) The sensor GUI does not correctly display information about any targets within its range. For example, when the sensor has an inventory card, I open its GUI to "InventoryContent" and use the right arrow key to scroll through available targets, the target is listed correctly at the top (e.g. "Target:container.chest"), but no inventory information appears below, even though the chest has plenty of items in it. Likewise, "TargetInfo" and "InventoryInfo" display nothing either.
2) The "New" button on the sensor controller item is non-functional. I can hover over the button with my mouse and it changes to register that, I can click on it and it looks like the click is being registered as well, but the button does not disappear as it should, no new frequency is assigned and the corners of the item remain red, indicating that it has no frequency.
Neither of the above occur in single player mode. Only SMP.
ComputerCraft version: 1.33
ccSensors build: B017pr1
