Hello I had this idea where the creators of Computer craft would make an application that basicly would be an Emulater for their mod. And would make learning how to program on the computers in game easy for users. And you can start new projects (I don't kow what to call them) which would allow you to add computers edit the ID's and Lables of these computers to fit the users world. They could then drag and drop disk drives to the side of the computer (left, right, top, bottom, back, front), floppys into the diskdrive to program on them, and attach Modems to the computers (left, right, top, bottom, ect.). Then you could double click a computer that you have just made and it would open up a new window with the look and feel of the computer craft console. Allowing you to create/edit programs as if you where in the game. and then being able to save what you have done in the emulator/application so that you could copy all of the work you just did into a single player world that you have created with the computers already made. Then if you would like to get more advanced you could make a 3D editor that allows you to use redstone to open doors and activate pistons.(or they can just do it in SSP)
Now I know that this is just an idea and if i knew how to create the application I would try but I don't so im asking you.
It doesn't need to be this complex but it seems to me like this would be a helpful and usfull application for users of Computercraft. Also with in the application you could add a tutorial how how to get started in building your first computercraft program or something.
Thanks for your time,
