Turtle and Computer ID system

My suggestion is simple. Just make the ID for computers and turtles static. Like the floppy disks that always have the same ID throughout their existence. It's just that loosing the startup file each time you break a turtle (or computer) and put it back in place kinda annoying especially when you have complex startup files :(/>

I know that it's possible to boot up from drives and stuff but i think that computer and turtles should have an internal memory that doesn't get wiped every time you move the computer or the turtle.

if there's any way to bypass this problem already then I'd love to know :lol:/>

else this is a suggestion :P/>

BTW I'm new to forums so just in case there's somethin' wrong with my post xP

Use labels. Run "label set <label>".

Label the turtle/computer using "label set blah". Done!

A little explanation:
Unlabeled Computers and Turtles loose ID and disk content to be stackable in inventory.
Unique Computers and Turtles should be given name (label) so game will know they are "special". They will have own ID, disk info, even fuel level for Turtles.
