NASA has found that tomorrow there is going to happen a rare event. They say that after the evening everything will go darker and daker it is an event NASA call "Night"

but i feel like using le old railgun
or if you want high tech i could redirect my already armed subatomic ion cannon to them

but i heard that a solor flar could be stong enough to breach the planets Mago field (the thing that keeps us safe) and cause power lines and anything that has nutrons (energy things in electry) to be come "nute' and useless there could be billions on people with out power for up-wards of a year or more… so if this does happen its back to teh stone age kids, no computers nothing… just good old oil lamps! (i still have about 10 of them ready, and extra fuel)

I heard news on the shores that the waters are receding…. The scientists in the area are calling this phenomenon "low tide". Sounds scary to me.

What magic could cause this? There must be some sort of "laser" on the moon, pointed at the earth. This "laser" would obvioudly have to have been built recently, as there have not been any "lasers" on the moon since the last war.
