Floppy problems

Can someone help me?
I am having troubles copying my files i have on my floppy disk to my turtle, if i do cp and then the filename I don't know where to get destination and i've tried about an hour to get it but it says acces denied.

have you tried cp disk/filename filename ?

if you still get access denied then the file is open in a read so you will need to restart minecraft to force close the read
