I think this would be a good idea, so that you can connect more peripherals to a single turtle, also if it is possible then you should add a recipe, that allows any turtle peripheral to be added to any side of any turtle, within reason, for example mining + wireless + crafting + RGs Misc Peripherals Solar panel(only on top!). :D/> But if it is not possible then it is just an idea :D/>

Thanks for reading :D/>

Yes, because turtles can totally just float along with a pick on their feet.
I do like the top idea, though.
There's a chest on the back of every turtle.

I always have too, I thought something like a compass should be able to go there and such.

I agree with this, but maybe peripherals should generally specify on which sides they can go (top, bottom or sides).

There is a inventory chest on back and engine on bottom. Front and top sides are "free" now.
But it seems to be a design decision. Just to restrict Turtle to have only two.

The top, front, and bottom are where all the various turtle functions happen, like detect, dig, compare, suck/drop, and so on. If you'd be willing to give up those functions on the affected sides in order to have more peripherals attached, then maybe it would be a "fair" trade-off.

What say you?

Putting a peripheral on the bottom would also stop the turtle from moving.

It's an idea that needs refining but an idea is an idea :D/>

Advanced engines would be cool though.

Which would…
Consume less fuel?
Move faster?
???
Profit?

They'd do all of that while printing it. :P/>
I honestly have no idea but advanced engines would be cool.

… fly above world;
… push blocks as a piston;
… move several meters at once (like falling sand);
… teleport;

just an ideas, do not demand it ;)/>

Probably not possible, as turtles alternate between block and entity.

… push blocks as a piston

Maybe, but not by default, add a function like turtle.push()

… move several meters at once (like falling sand);

Not quite sure I understand you.

… teleport;

Meh. It would just over complicate stuff. (Whoops, I typed turtle.teleport(1000,64,10) instead of turtle.teleport(100,64,10) now my turtle is 900 blocks away)
