I wasn't sure where to post this, so I've posted it here:
The turtle program forum has a nice big mix of different programs for different uses, and it'd probably be helpful to have subforums like "Mining", "Farming", and "Building" to make it easier to find the right program that you're going to use. Right now it's just a huge mix of different mining scripts, building scripts, and all sorts of other turtle programs which can be annoying to sift through.

That's really a matter of people giving their programs useful descriptions. And a lot of programs aren't so neatly categorized, some programs are "package deals" that implement multiple tasks, others may do something quite novel. Others are designed to enable generally useful functions. And often programs expand their capabilities as later versions are released.

There probably should be a sticky post with tips on how to name (and thus how to search) threads, though.

I suppose if people were asked categorizing their own posts such as [Miner] or [Farmer], and if they have multiple tools they can have [Miner][Tree Farm][Builder] etc. it'd be really easy for people to just search those "categories"

Maybe they could just add some new tags for people to use to help with the searching instead of adding multiple new subforums.
